(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) October 13, 2025 – A diverse lineup of authors is on tap for the fourth annual Lakeshore Book Show and Author Signing at 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. in Sheboygan, Wis., on Saturday, Nov. 1.
This year’s show will allow book enthusiasts of all ages and interests to meet a broad range of authors and purchase a wide array of books rooted in varied genres.
Running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with free admission, 27 local and regional authors will be on hand for the annual event with 3 Sheeps Brewing serving as the host venue for the first time in 2025.
The nonfiction and fiction books showcased at this year’s show cover a wide range of topics, including true crime, personal memoir, travel, murder mystery, auto racing, self-help, military history, romance, Christian/inspirational poetry, medieval fantasy, comic books, children’s stories, and more.
Popular true crime and motorsports author Joe Verdegan of Dunbar, Wis., who wrote the Amazon No. 1 true crime best-seller “The Reformatory – Tales from Green Bay’s Maximum Security Prison” in 2020, is scheduled to return to the show for the fourth consecutive year. In addition to his acclaimed true crime book, “The Reformatory,” which details prison life at the Green Bay Correctional Institute, Verdegan has also released six additional books covering the Wisconsin and Upper Michigan auto racing scene during his fruitful career as an author.
This year, Verdegan will be taking pre-orders for his highly anticipated new book, “The Monfils 6 Case – 30 Years Later,” which is scheduled for release on Dec. 6. The book details one of the highest-profile cases in Brown County history in which six Green Bay paper mill workers were convicted in the 1992 death of Thomas Monfils.
The following authors are also scheduled to be on hand with copies of their books for sale during the event.
