(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) June 2, 2026 – Randy Post took another step forward in working his way back into regular Akright Auto Plymouth Dirt Track Racing 360 Sprint Car competition by registering a solid effort at The Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis., on Saturday, May 30.

In his second start of the 2026 season and just his fourth since the end of the 2024 season, Post opened the night by qualifying 19th overall in the 30-car PDTR 360 Sprint Car field with a lap of 13.584 seconds.

After placing seventh in the second eight-lap heat race, Post started 11th in the 12-lap B main needing a top-six finish to advance to the 25-lap main event.

Post dodged several mishaps throughout an eventful B main, including four caution flags, to finish sixth and earn the 22nd starting spot in the A main.

The fifth-year Sprint Car racer stayed clean throughout the 25-lap main event to register a 17th-place showing.

“I am enjoying the total amount of laps we are able to turn in a night right now,” Post Said. “After being out of it for a while, it is definitely helping me recondition myself to the car, and we have been trying some things, and most of them are not working.

“But, with the help of ‘Uncle Paul’ Pokorski, I think we finally found an issue I have been chasing for a few years,” he said. “I didn’t change anything on the car from qualifying to feature. Paul finally found something that made the feature feel so much better. I am definitely looking forward to expanding on what we can do from here.”

Post is planning to compete at The Plymouth Dirt Track this Saturday, June 6, when the PDTR 360 Sprint Cars compete in support of the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.
