John Born of Howards Grove will be honored at the Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame Induction Night as part of the Class of 2026 on Saturday, July 11 at The Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis.

(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) June 18, 2025 – The fifth annual Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame Induction Night will give a nod to the “good ole days” by honoring the Class of 2026 during the Plymouth Dirt Track Racing program at The Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis., on Saturday, July 11.

Five drivers, four track workers, and one racing family are set to be recognized during intermission as the newest members of the Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame.

Brian Gilles of Plymouth will be recognized at the Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame Induction Night as part of the Class of 2026 on Saturday, July 11 at The Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis.

A Wall of Fame inductee meet-and-greet, autograph, photo, and memorabilia session is scheduled under the grandstand starting at 4:30 p.m. The event provides an opportunity for fans to interact with present and past Wall of Fame inductees, while viewing photos and memorabilia from their legendary racing careers.

All past Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame inductees from the Class of 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, as well as all past Miss Eastern Wisconsin Stock Car trophy queens, are invited to attend and participate in the festivities.

Terry Marten of Sheboygan Falls will join the Class of 2026 at the Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame Induction Night on Saturday, July 11 at The Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis.

In addition, vintage race car owners can display their classic machines in the Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame Night car show.

Randy Sippel of Elkhart Lake will be recognized as a member of the Sippel Racing Family at the Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame Induction Night on Saturday, July 11 at The Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis.

The list of 10 Class of 2026 inductees represents the fifth collection of iconic Plymouth racing names added to the Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame.

Five drivers are set for induction, including John Born of Howards Grove, Brian Gilles of Plymouth, Terry Marten of Sheboygan Falls, Lanny Schirmer of Plymouth, and Gib Wiser of Neosho.

Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame Class of 2026 inductees in the Dedication to Racing category include four longtime track workers – Dale Baumann, Kim Baumann, Dave Bohrmueller and Brian Triphan.

Lanny Schirmer of Plymouth will be celebrated as a member of the Class of 2026 at the Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame Induction Night on Saturday, July 11 at The Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis.

Members of the Sippel Family, which features multiple generations of racers, including Tom, Randy and Scott, will also be inducted in the Racing Family category.

Gib Wiser of Neosho will be honored as a member of the Class of 2026 at the Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame Induction Night on Saturday, July 11 at The Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis.

The evening’s racing program will feature the Seubert Calf Ranches-106.5 The Buzz, Sheboygan’s Rock Station Super Six Late Models, Akright Auto 360 Sprint Cars, Oostburg Auto Grand Nationals, Sheboygan Flooring B Mods and Vintage Modifieds.

Spectator gates open at 4:30 p.m. with Late Model and 360 Sprint Car qualifying at 5:30 p.m. and racing at 6 p.m.

In the event of inclement weather on Saturday, July 11, a make-up date for the Wall of Class of 2026 induction ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, July 18.
