(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) July 22, 2026 – After a two-weekend hiatus from competition, Travis Arenz and the members of the Travis Arenz Motorsports Team hit the road on Saturday, July 18, for a $5,000-to-win unsanctioned event at Butler Motor Speedway in Quincy, Mich.

The evening was not what Arenz hoped for as his 25T machine was plagued by mechanical issues, which hampered his efforts throughout the racing program.

After qualifying 13th with a lap of 14.192 seconds around the 3/8-mile high-banked dirt oval, Arenz placed fourth in the first heat race to claim the 10th starting spot in the 25-lap main event.

The Sheboygan Falls, Wis. driver worked his way up to sixth on lap 15 and was running seventh when a motor issue forced him to drop out of the race on lap 21. He was credited with a 17th-place showing.

“We found a coolant leak during engine heat, so I missed firing off,” Arenz said. “I also missed my qualifying position. I was able to go out dead last and get one lap of qualifying in. The feature was decent, but I didn’t go far enough on setup. I was battling for fifth when we lost the head gasket on the engine and ended up with a DNF [did not finish].”

After taking a month off, the Travis Arenz Motorsports team will return to Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association 410 Sprint Car Series action with a tripleheader weekend starting this Friday, July 24, at Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wis., before moving on to the prestigious $10,000-to-win Jerry Reichert Memorial at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis., on Saturday, July 25, and finishing up Sunday, July 26, at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wis.
