(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) September 15, 2026 – Alex Pokorski equaled his best career finish behind the wheel of a 410 Sprint Car with a strong runner-up showing in open 410 Sprint Car competition as part of the third annual Fall Classic Natalie Klemko Memorial at Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wis. on Friday, Sept. 11.

The West Bend, Wis. native opened the night by recording the third-fastest qualifying lap in the 18-car field in 12.920 seconds in the seat of his No. 4 GR8 Team entry.

Pokorski then placed second in the first heat race and raced to victory in the four-lap dash to secure the pole position for the 30-lap $4,500-to-win main event. He led the first eight laps before relinquishing the top spot on lap 9.

After briefly dropping back to third on laps 15 and 16, Pokorski regained second on lap 17 and maintained he spot on the way to a second-place showing to equal his previous career best 410 Sprint Car finish at the Jerry Richert Memorial at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis. on Saturday, Sept. 6.

“It was the most fun I’ve had in the car in a while,” Pokorski said. “We needed a good result, so I’m happy about finishing second. I needed to be better through lap traffic to have a better chance of a win.”

The Alex Pokorski-GR8 Team is scheduled to compete with the Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association 410 Sprint Car Series in the prestigious 48^th annual Jackson Nationals at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn. this Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19.

Spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m. on both nights.

The Jackson Nationals will be broadcast live on floracing.com.
