Geared to children between the ages of 2 and 7, Meyer’s 19^th and 20^th books offer a view into the Creation and the Nativity as conveyed in the Bible.

“The content of the book, which begins with Genesis One, led me to the thought that there are shepherds today, just as long ago, who take care of sheep,” Meyer said. “There is not only the Creation event, but there are the shepherds who heard the announcement of the birth of Christ. So, the book ends with the Nativity.”

The “God’s Big World” books were inspired by one of Meyer’s family members.

“It was time to dedicate a book to a great-grandchild whose father is a pastor,” Meyer said. “I thought the creation from Genesis One would bring a lot of colorful pictures for him to see and enjoy.”

Both books, which are illustrated by Russel Wayne, bring the Bible’s greatest stories to life for young readers.

“The ‘God’s Big World’ books are designed to give readers the enjoyment of the pictures and the story,” Meyer said. “The coloring book is to reinforce the story.”
