Lakeshore Book Show and Author Signing lands new home at 3 Sheeps Brewing

(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) August 18, 2025 – Following three successful editions in Manitowoc, Wis., the fourth annual Lakeshore Book Show and Author Signing, 3 Sheeps Brewing in Sheboygan, Wis., is on tap to host the 2025 event on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with free admission, the show will once again provide a unique opportunity for a diverse group of area authors to share their books with an enthusiastic audience of book lovers.

Popular true crime and motorsports author Joe Verdegan of Dunbar, Wis., who wrote the Amazon No. 1 true crime best-seller “The Reformatory – Tales from Green Bay’s Maximum Security Prison” in 2020, is scheduled to return to the show for the fourth consecutive year. In addition to his acclaimed true crime book, “The Reformatory,” which details prison life at the Green Bay Correctional Institute, Verdegan has also released six additional books covering the Wisconsin and Upper Michigan auto racing scene during his fruitful career as an author.

This year, Verdegan will be taking pre-orders for his highly anticipated new book, “The Monfils 6 Case – 30 Years Later,” which is scheduled for release in early December. The book details one of the highest-profile cases in Brown County history in which six Green Bay paper mill workers were convicted in the 1992 death of Tom Monfils.

Among the other authors scheduled to be on hand with copies of their books for purchase are Steven Wilton of Birnamwood, Wis. (fantasy, adventure – “Heart of Light Book One – Madea’s Fate,” “Rendered Soul,” “Witch’s Valley Book Two – Madea’s Fate”), Michael F. Dilley of Manitowoc, Wis. (military history – “Elite Warriors,” “GALAHAD” and “Rangers, Scouts, and Raiders”) and Mary T. Wagner of Sheboygan, Wis. (children’s, humor, entertainment – “Of Bairns and Wheelie Bins,” “Finnegan the Lionhearted” and “When the Shoe Fits”) and many more.

The books featured at this year’s show are expected to span a wide range of genres, including true crime, auto racing, military history, sports, romance, Christian/inspirational poetry, epic-medieval fantasy, children’s stories, and more.

The 3 Sheeps Brewing taproom will be open with drinks available for purchase throughout the event.
