The first annual Lakeshore Book Show and Author Signing presented by Pedal Down Promotions is set to take place Saturday, Dec. 3 at Sabbatical Brewing Co. in Manitowoc, Wis. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) September 19, 2022 – After publishing 17 books over the course of the past six years, Pedal Down Promotions is preparing to stage the first annual Lakeshore Book Show and Author Signing event at Sabbatical Brewing Co. in Manitowoc, Wis. on Saturday, Dec. 3.

Set to run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the holiday shopping season, the show is set to feature several noted area authors, including Joe Verdegan of Dunbar, Wis., who penned the Amazon No. 1 true crime best seller “The Reformatory – Tales from Green Bay’s Maximum Security Prison” in 2020, and has released six additional books covering the Wisconsin and Upper Michigan auto racing scene.

Other authors scheduled to be on hand with copies of their books for sale are former Fox Valley Lutheran High School Football Coach and Athletic Director Gene Strusz of Appleton, Wis. (“Essays on Coaching Athletes: Advice for Athletic Administrators and Coaches of All Sports” and “Morning Prayers for the Christian School”), Angel Mueller of Mishicot, Wis. (“Wheels Up – Grief to Peace”), Bob Rogler of Kiel, Wis. (“Heart of Light Book One – Madea’s Fate,” “Rendered Soul,” and “Witch’s Valley Book Two – Madea’s Fate) and Lee Trotta of Sheboygan, Wis. (“Florida Cheese,” “Wisconsin Cheese” and “California Cheese”).

Books available for purchase will cover a wide range of genres including true crime, auto racing, youth sports/coaching, Christian/inspirational poetry, medieval fantasy, children’s stories and more.

The Sabbatical Brewing Co. taproom will be open with drinks available for purchase throughout the event.

Previously purchased books can be brought to the show for participating authors to sign.
