Please explain to me why Nich Melis is not included in the members of the Melis Family members being inducted this year? He raced many years at the track as well. What a shame on the group for not including him with his family and the time they all put in racing at the track
Hello Mike,
Thanks for your interest in the Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame.
I’m interested to learn what drew you to the conclusion expressed in your message.
The Melis family is being inducted into the Wall of Fame. No family member among the generations is being excluded.
The press release states that the three brothers that raced in the same division at the same time will be included in the family’s induction. However, there is no indication that their generation of racers is the only one that will be inducted under the family name.
Please clarify the origins of your statement by giving me a call at 920-323-7970. If I don’t answer, please leave your phone number and I will get back to you. I look forward to hearing from you.
I also look forward to seeing you at Sheboygan County Fair Park on Saturday, July 12 to celebrate the induction of the Melis Family along with all of the Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame inductees present and past.
Thanks,
Jeff Pederson

Jeff,
Just wanted to congratulate you and your team for the great labor of love for racing at the Plymouth racetrack. The thoughtfulness of both workers as well as drivers being honored is a great tribute to the many people that have been involved in heritage of the Plymouth racetrack!!
Nich is being is being included as far as I know.
Hello Chuck, Yes. Melis family means Melis family. Confusing as to how that could have been misunderstood. Lol!
