“Rendered Soul” by Bob Rogler has been released by publisher Pedal Down Promotions of Manitowoc, Wis.
(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) July 28, 2020 – Nearly six months after the release of his debut novel “Heart of Light Book One-Madea’s Fate,” Bob Rogler is back with his second book “Rendered Soul,” geared to adult readers with a medieval fantasy adventure setting serving as the backdrop for the fast-paced heroes-versus-villains storyline.
Published by Pedal Down Promotions of Manitowoc, Wis, Rogler’s second novel features a world filled with magic and monsters, good versus evil, dark against the light. In other words, a place where anything is possible.
“‘Rendered Soul’ take place in a magical realm called the Northrend,” Rogler said. “It is same world which is part of the Madea’s Fate Trilogy and my first fantasy novel ‘Heart of Light Book One-Madea’s Fate.’”
While the Madea’s Fate Trilogy is directed at young adult readers, Rogler is quick to point out that “Rendered Soul” is much more graphic in nature and designed for an adult audience.
“‘Rendered Soul’ is written for adults in mind,” Rogler said. “There are disturbing scenes and descriptions of violence, which set the backdrop for the evil committed by the villain Bëtenoir. Yet, the balance can be restored. It is in eight that the goddess Selorain blesses those devoted to her. Not only with another chance at life, but with the ability to protect those who cannot stand for themselves.”
Rogler says “Rendered Soul” provides a fantasy adventure reading experience that offers a bit of something for every reader to enjoy, especially those that relish the complex eternal conflict between good and evil.
“The Northrend is a vast realm defined by only one’s imagination,” Rogler said. “Darkness and light forever seek dominance in a world where love or hate gives rise to heroes and villains.”

Rogler, who is the head custodian at Manitowoc Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, Wis, is a resident of School Hill, Wis. where he lives with his wife, Jennifer, son, Logan and daughter, Gabrielle.
