(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) June 3, 2026 – Travis Arenz Motorsports entered Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association 410 Sprint Car Series competition with plenty of promise on Saturday, May 30, at LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, Ill., but mechanical issues left it with little to show for its efforts.

With 37-cars signed in, Arenz clicked off the second-fastest qualifying lap in 11.905 seconds around the quarter-mile high-banked dirt oval. After advancing from fourth to second in the second eight-lap heat race, the Sheboygan Falls, Wis. driver gained a dash berth for the six consecutive IRA event.

A fourth-place showing in the second four-lap dash placed Arenz in the eighth starting spot for the 30-lap A main. However, after completing just one lap, Arenz’s 25T machine suffered a rear-end failure, ending his night with a 23rd-place finish on his stats sheet.

It marked Arenz’s first finish outside of the top 10 in 2026 IRA action.

“The night went decent until feature time,” Arenz said. “Overall, the car was good. I feel I just needed to be a little better. Unfortunately, on the second lap of the feature, our almost brand-new rear end expired, which sidelined us for the rest of the night.”
