(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) September 8, 2026 – Although it wasn’t in the original plans, Alex Pokorski and the GR8 Team made a late decision to pay a visit to 141 Speedway in Francis Creek, Wis., for a Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association 410 Sprint Car Series event on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Pokorski opened the night by qualifying 14^th in the 22-car field with a lap of 11.344 on the quarter-mile egg-shaped clay oval. After launching from the fifth starting slot in the second eight-lap heat race, the West Bend, Wis. native suffered front axle damage after contacting an infield tire on lap 2. The damage forced him to retire from the race.

With a new front axle on his No. 4 machine, Pokorski started the 30-lap main event from 19^th and recovered from a spin to post an 18^th-place showing in his eighth A main of the 2026 season.

“Rough night is the first thing that comes to mind about 141,” Pokorski said. “I clipped an infield tire early in the heat race. The crew worked hard to get the front axle changed for the feature. Then we [and mostly me] made the wrong set-up decisions, and I just felt very uncomfortable in the feature. We had lots of family and friends around, so that part of the night was enjoyable even if the on-track results weren’t great.”

Pokorski and the GR8 crew will head back to Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wis. this Friday, Sept. 11 for an open 410 Sprint Car contest as part of the track’s third annual Fall Classic.

Spectator gates open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing commencing at 7 p.m.

There will be no live streaming available for this event.

The Alex Pokorski-GR8 Team is also scheduled to compete with the Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association 410 Sprint Car Series in the prestigious 48^th annual Jackson Nationals at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn. on Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19.

Spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m. on both nights.

The Jackson Nationals will be broadcast live on floracing.com.

“We’re looking forward to Wilmot on Friday, followed by Jackson the next week,” Pokorski said. “My goals would be to finish top five again at Wilmot and better our finish from last year’s Jackson Nationals.”
