(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) September 8, 2026 – Austin Hartmann and the 87A Hartmann Racing team hooked back up with the Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek, Wis. on Saturday, Sept. 5, posting a solid top-10 showing as part of a doubleheader Labor Day weekend of 410 Sprint Car competition.

The Plymouth, Wis. driver clocked in eighth in the 22-car field with a time of 11.122 seconds before placing second in the second heat race and fifth in dash 1 to earn the ninth starting spot in the 30-lap headliner.

Hartmann held strong throughout the contest to come home 10^th for his fifth top-10 main event finish of the 2026 campaign.

One night later, the team ventured north to The Hill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay, Wis., where Hartmann flew out of the gate to lay down the second-fastest qualifying lap of the 22 entries with a lap of 13.236 around the third-mile, slightly banked Door County clay oval.

Following a fourth-place showing in heat two, Hartmann placed fifth in the second dash to claim the 10th starting position in the 30-lap main event.

Hartmann was running 10^th when contact with the outside wall sent him to the work area on lap 10. After returning to the track, he capped off the event with a 14^th-place finish.

“I can’t catch a break in dash draws,” Hartmann said. “That pretty much sums up the weekend. I’d like to get ourselves back in podium position by the end of the year.”

Hartmann is set to head to Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wis. this Friday, Sept. 11 for an open 410 Sprint Car race as part of the track’s third annual Fall Classic.

Spectator gates open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing commencing at 7 p.m.

The 87A Hartmann Racing Team will also be in action with the Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association 410 Sprint Car Series for the prestigious 48^th annual Jackson Nationals at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn. on Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19.

Spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m. on both nights.

The Jackson Nationals will be broadcast live on floracing.com.
