(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) July 1, 2026 – Travis Arenz and the members of the Travis Arenz Motorsports Team completed nine consecutive weekends of 410 Sprint Car competition with the team’s debut visit to I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park in Pevely, Mo., on Saturday, June 27.

With 32 cars on hand, Arenz qualified 24^th with a time of 11.538 seconds on the third-mile high-banked clay oval. After advancing from sixth to fourth in the fourth heat race, the Sheboygan Falls, Wis. driver earned a berth in the 30-lap main event.

The two-time Midwest Sprint Car Association and Plymouth Dirt Track Racing 360 Sprint Car champion rolled off 16th and moved up fourth spots to come home 12^th in the IRA A-main.

“There’s not much to say about I-55,” Arenz said. “We struggled the whole night.”

Through the first 11 events of the 2026 IRA season, Arenz stands fourth in the IRA point standings, 38 points behind leader Will Armitage. Twelve events remain on the 2026 IRA schedule.

After taking a month off, the IRA campaign resumes with a tripleheader weekend starting Friday, July 24, at Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wis., before moving on to Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis., on Saturday, July 25, and finishing up Sunday, July 26, at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wis.

Arenz is unsure when and where he might compete in the coming weeks.
