Pedal Down Promotions to publish 12th book Saturday, Dec. 4

(Dunbar, WI) November 5 – Motorsports author and Green Bay native Joe Verdegan has revealed the cover for his seventh book titled “5-10-32 – McBride, Parker & Anvelink.”

The book features Northeastern Wisconsin dirt late model legends M.J. McBride of Shawano, Pete Parker of Kaukauna and Terry Anvelink of Navarino. The book is being published by Pedal Down Promotions in Manitowoc, Wisconsin and the back and front covers were designed by Kathy Roehrig with assists coming from Bryan “Woody” Wodack from Woody’s Signs and John Deaton and the Toon Factory.

Photo credits on the front cover belong to Andy Springborn and the late Bob Bergeron, a longtime motorsports enthusiast.

The book is currently in production at Seaway Printing in Green Bay. The softcover book contains 160 pages, 32 chapters and includes dozens of color and black and white photos illustrating the colorful careers of the trio of drivers.

Books can be pre-ordered at joeverdegan.com with shipping taking place beginning the week of December 6.

“This will ensure folks can receive their books in time for the holidays,” Verdegan said.

For folks who’d prefer to pick up their copy in person and save on shipping costs, Verdegan will tour Northeastern Wisconsin with six dates in December spread amongst Brown, Shawano and Outagamie Counties.
