(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) July 11, 2026 – With a strong, enthusiastic, and celebratory Wall of Fame Induction Night crowd on hand, 2018 Plymouth Dirt Track Racing Grand National champion Tyler Kulow of Plymouth turned in a night to remember by claiming a first-place prize of $1,053 in the special 53-lap Dirt Devil Grand National Series Scott Weiss Memorial Grand National A main presented by Oostburg Automotive on Saturday, July 11 at The Plymouth Dirt Track.
In other main event action, six-time PDTR Late Model champ Brad Mueller of Random Lake led flag-to-flag en route to his first Plymouth victory in three years in the 30-lap Seubert Calf Ranches Super Six Late Model Series presented by Sheboygan’s Rock Station 106.5 The Buzz main event.
T.J. Smith of Greenville used a late charge to notch his second A-main triumph of the 2026 campaign in a 25-lap Akright Auto PDTR 360 Sprint Car feature event, which featured three different leaders.
After a few years’ absence, 2017 division champion Justin Green of Sheboygan Falls returned to victory lane for the first time in five years in the 25-lap Sheboygan Flooring B Mod A main.
On the fifth annual Plymouth Racing Wall of Fame Induction Night, four-time Eastern Wisconsin Stock Car Winged Super Modified champion and 2024 Wall of Fame inductee Pete Ostrowski of East Troy took home a trophy in the special Vintage Modified feature.
Three-time PDTR Grand National champion Brad Lubach of Kiel jumped into the lead on the opening lap of the 53-lap Scott Weiss Memorial Grand National headliner from the outside front row starting spot.
Behind the wheel of the 41k car normally driven by Katelyn Sohrweide, Lubach dominated the first half of the race, leading up to a scheduled stop on lap 24 to allow crews to add fuel for the extended-lap event.
When the green flag flew to commence the second half of the race, Kulow, who started 11th, wasted little time jumping to the outside groove to charge into second following the restart. On lap 25, Kulow bolted past Lubach to claim the lead in turn one.
The third of four caution flags flew on lap 28 before the final caution was displayed on lap 29. Following a single-file restart, Kulow again blasted away from the field on the way to a half-lap margin of victory for his second A-main triumph of the 2026 season and 14th career PDTR Grand National main event win.
Kulow’s victory was worth $1,053 in a race contested in memory of the late Scott Weiss, a former racer and the father of current PDTR Grand National competitor Dustin Weiss, who passed away in May.
Lubach had to settle for second, 87-year-old Dick Hed of Plymouth started and finished third, Will Schumacher of Hartford raced up from the 17th starting position to place fourth, and fifth starter Jack Wiroll of Sheboygan rounded out the top five.

Brad Mueller seized the top spot on the opening lap of the Super Six Late Model Series main event from the pole before the first of two caution flags was thrown on lap 2 following contact between Paul Parker and Joel Bennett in turn four.
On the restart, Mueller pulled away while third starter Justin Ritchie of New London worked his way into second on lap 4. Following a pair of caution flags on lap 17, fifth starter Brett Swedberg of Shawano inched ahead of Ritchie to seize the runner-up spot on lap 18.
Meanwhile, Mueller controlled the pace before catching up to the rear of the field on the final circuit. While Mueller got hung up briefly by a lapped car, Swedberg closed significantly on Mueller in the closing lap. However, Mueller held on to secure his first Super Six Late Model Series A-main win at Plymouth since May 6, 2023, and the 25th main event victory of his PDTR Late Model career.
Swedberg was second, Ritchie placed third, five-time PDTR Late Model champ Justin Schmidt of Cleveland placed fourth after starting eighth, and ninth starter Turk Letizia of Milwaukee rounded out the top five.
For the second A main in a row at Plymouth, Katelyn Krebsbach of Johnsburg, who started second, grabbed the lead on the opening circuit of the 25-lap 360 Sprint Car main event.
On lap 3, a red flag appeared when Ryan Sawusch flipped and made hard contact with the fence in turn one. His car suffered heavy damage, but Sawusch was able to escape uninjured.

Following the restart, PDTR 360 Sprint Car rookie Ethon Stear of Hebron, Ill., who started on the pole, rode the high groove to pressure Krebsbach for the top spot. On lap 9, Stear pounced with a low move in turn three to come out with the lead.
However, Krebsbach battled back and regained the lead in turn two one lap later. While Stear stayed with the top side, fourth starter T.J. Smith went to work on the bottom of the speedway.
On lap 16, Smith gained second and, two laps later, he pulled ahead of the high-riding Krebsbach in turn four. After a caution flag flew on lap 19 for Tom Becker’s spin, defending PDTR 360 Sprint Car champion Kevin Karnitz of West Bend used the high line to vault his way from fourth to second on lap 20.
The cushion-pounding Karnitz nearly pulled even with the low-riding Smith, but he was unable to secure the pass. As the top groove faded, Krebsbach repassed Karnitz to regain second.

Justin Green of Sheboygan Falls collected his ninth career Sheboygan Flooring Plymouth Dirt Track Racing B Mod main event triumph at The Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis. on Saturday, July 11. – RC Custom Design photo
Smith could not be denied as he cruised to his second victory of the 2026 campaign and fourth career PDTR 360 Sprint Car A-Main win. Krebsbach nailed down a career-best A-main finish with a strong runner-up showing, Karnitz placed third, PDTR 360 Sprint Car rookie Carter Chevalier of Andover, Minn., took fourth from the third starting spot, and Justin Erickson of Plymouth, who started seventh, rounded out the top five.
Outside front row starter Brad Buckman of Kiel led the opening laps of the 25-lap B Mod main event before Steve Lorier of Sheboygan brought out the first caution of the race after contacting the wall exiting turn two on lap 6.
When the race resumed, Justin Green powered up from the ninth starting position to assume second on lap 6. Three laps later, Green swept his way into the lead in turn four.
Another caution flag slowed the pace on lap 14, but it didn’t hinder Green as he pulled away to earn his first A-main victory since July 17, 2021, and his ninth career PDTR B Mod main event win.
After starting 11th, 2024 PDTR B Mod champion Travis Schmidt of Cascade placed second, Buckman was third, Vince Jung of Iron Ridge took fourth after starting fifth, and 2018 PDTR B Mod champ Tim Sheppard of Beaver Dam, who started 10th, rounded out the top five.
