(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) August 18, 2026 – On the heels of a highly successful debut at 3 Sheeps Brewing in Sheboygan, Wis., a year ago, the fifth annual Lakeshore Book Show and Author Signing is on tap to return to the popular craft brewery and event venue on Saturday, Nov. 7.

Running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with free admission, the show will once again provide a unique opportunity for a diverse group of area authors to share their books with an enthusiastic audience of book lovers.

Popular true crime and motorsports author Joe Verdegan of Dunbar, Wis., who released the Amazon No. 1 true crime best-seller “The Reformatory – Tales from Green Bay’s Maximum Security Prison” in 2020, will return to the show for the fifth consecutive year.

This year, Verdegan will have copies of his latest release, “The Monfils 6 Case – 30 Years Later,” available for purchase. The book details one of the highest-profile cases in Brown County history in which six Green Bay paper mill workers were convicted in the 1992 death of Tom Monfils.

In addition, Verdegan’s wife, Kim, will make her Lakeshore Book Show and Author Signing debut for the launch of her new children’s book titled “Luna and Pip’s 1st Adventure,” which showcases illustrations from Sheboygan’s Julia Santana.

Among the other authors scheduled to be on hand with copies of their books for purchase are Steven Wilton of Birnamwood, Wis. (action, fantasy, adventure, romance – “On Orion’s Shoulder,” “Queen of Crows” and “Crows and Wyverns”), and author Robert L. Rogler of Kiel, Wis. (fantasy, adventure – “Heart of Light Book One – Madea’s Fate,” “Rendered Soul,” “Witch’s Valley Book Two – Madea’s Fate,” and “Shadows of Fate Book Three-Madea’s Fate”).

The books featured at this year’s show span a wide range of genres, including true crime, auto racing, military history, sports, romance, Christian/inspirational poetry, epic-medieval fantasy, children’s stories, and more.

The 3 Sheeps Brewing taproom will be open with drinks available for purchase throughout the event.
