Mulch Express of Wisconsin recently added an Express Blower TR-HD to its specialty landscaping equipment fleet.

(NEWTON, WIS.) November 17, 2023 – Since its inception in 2000, Mulch Express of Wisconsin has thrived on the leading edge of the specialty landscaping service industry through an unwavering dedication to expanding and enhancing its multifaceted capabilities for delivering maximum quality satisfaction to its legion of customers.

Over the past 23 years, the Newton, Wis.-based state-of-the-art specialty landscaping company has found its niche as the to-go mulching provider for municipalities, school districts, commercial businesses and residences throughout Northeastern Wisconsin and beyond.

As the lid closes on the 2023 specialty landscaping season, Mulch Express of Wisconsin staff is already looking forward to 2024 with a new piece of high-tech equipment added to its arsenal, designed to help make the material application process even more efficient, effective and eye-pleasing.

“We recently purchased a new piece of equipment that expands our material application capabilities for our customers,” Jensen Wetenkamp of Mulch Express of Wisconsin said. “It is an Express Blower TR-HD. With this piece, we can blow materials more than 20 stories high and 2,000-plus feet away from the machine. With this machine, we can blow aggregate, soil, compost and mulches. We are looking to use it on specialty jobs that consist of high-volume material applications that are typically hard to reach.”

According to Wetenkamp, the newly purchased Express Blower TR-HD has already turned heads for its ability to deliver high octane results for a wide range of projects.

“Through the use of the Express Blower TR-HD machine, we have completed jobs such as green roofs, rooftop gardens, high-volume mulch applications, bio retention ponds and a recent job where we installed more than 250 cubic yards of stone into a former storage pit underneath a building,” Wetenkamp said. “This saved the customer thousands of dollars, as we were able to fill the void without having to remove the existing concrete floor.”

Formed in 2000 out of the desire to control the cost and efficiency of installing mulch, bark, soil and playground chips, Mulch Express of Wisconsin has established a strong reputation for offering top-quality mulch, bark, chip and soil blowing services from early spring through late fall, thanks in large part to the expansive spreading capabilities of its top-of-the-line blower truck.

“When we set out to start Mulch Express of Wisconsin, our goal was to reduce the cost of the mulching process and make it more efficient to install,” Wetenkamp said. “We offer pneumatic installation of mulch, bark, chip and soil products to our commercial, residential and institutional customers in our service area.

“We provide a more efficient and cheaper service to the customer,” he said. “We do this by using less men and wheelbarrows and relying more on the high-tech landscaping machines we have available to us, which now includes our new Express Blower TR-HD. Whether it is mulch, bark, playground chips, soil mixes, seeding or light stones and aggregates, our blower truck can install 30-plus cubic yards an hour compared to a person with a wheelbarrow, who is only capable of doing one cubic yard an hour.”
