(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) June 16, 2026 – A late decision to enter a Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association 410 Sprint Car Series event at Outagamie Speedway in Seymour, Wis., proved fruitful for Alex Pokorski and the GR8 Team on Friday, June 12.

Pokorski opened the night strong by qualifying fifth in the 26-car field with a lap of 12.079 seconds around the progressive-banked third-mile clay oval. After placing fourth in the second IRA heat race, Pokorski started and finished fifth in his first dash appearance of the 2026 season.

The seventh-year Sprint Car competitor rolled off 10^th in the 30-lap A main and was running 14th when he was involved in an incident in turn two on lap 10. After restarting 18th, Pokorski battled back to record a 14^th-place showing.

“I could’ve been a bit better in the heat race, but we made some good strides on the car balance,” Pokorski said. “It was fun to race in the feature, even though we had to come from the back after an incident. I enjoyed having a lot of family and friends spend the night with us.”

After a week off, Alex and the GR8 Team will head to Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis. for a pair of NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series events on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27.
