(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) June 16, 2026 – Racing at a local dirt track is supposed to be fun for drivers, teams, and fans alike. That’s just what it was for fifth-year Akright Auto Plymouth Dirt Track Racing 360 Sprint Car competitor at The Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis., on Saturday, June 13.
In his third event of the 2026 campaign, Post opened the night by qualifying 22nd overall in the 26-car field. Following a fifth-place showing in the second heat race, the Oostburg, Wis. driver placed second in the B main to earn a berth in the 25-lap main event.
After starting 18th in the A main, the fourth-year 360 Sprint Car racer was running 20th on lap 20 before moving up three spots in the final five laps to record a 17th-place finish.
“If I had to sum up the night in one word, it would be ‘fun’; we had a blast,” Post said. “We made some huge adjustments to the car, and I believe I found something I have been battling for like five years. I was very happy with the way the car handled and the clean racing we saw from my point of view. The things I’d like to improve on aren’t really anything wrench-wise but just knowing how to drive the car now that it handles correctly. I have a lot of bad habits that now need to be broken and need to figure this thing out all over again.”
Post plans to compete at The Plymouth Dirt Track with the PDTR 360 Sprint Cars this Saturday, June 20.
